Level Design

Description
Once the player kills all of the enemies in this FPS game, a more powerful set of enemies spawns for which the player will have to defeat to advance and win. The player will quickly realize using the cover available on the map will yield better results than rushing in for the kill.

Utilizing the Layout
The main goal of this level is to subtly guide the player into action through environmental cues, challenges and gameplay mechanic, without directly instructing the player.
Design Process
This level was designed to make the player deal with enemies in varying positions. At the beginning, enemies are placed across, below, and next to where the player spawns, teaching the player to quickly prioritize the shooting pattern.
